The Pink Pair-a-Troupers march in Making Strides Against Breast Cancer

Saturday October 23, 2010 25,000+ walkers descended on Atlantic Station in downtown Atlanta to walk in the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer 3 mile walk. Some people walked with their families, some walked with friends and others walked with teams; my family and I walked as part of the team Pink Pair-a-Troupers lead by team captain Tracie Garren and inspired by survivor Danielle Files. My family & I raised money and walked that day to support the fight against breast cancer, we walked to support the memory of those we have lost to the disease, Cora Meredith mother-in-law, Teri Wood cousin and Denise Gamble friend and we walked to celebrate those survivors who have touched our lives, Diane Morrison, Danielle Files and Gayla Matouja; you are an inspiration to us all, thank you.
