Autism Grant awarded to GA

Yesterday I had the privilege of photographing Governor Nathan Deal and Dr. Ami Klin at an event announcing a new Autism Center of Excellence that is being created in Atlanta with a more than $8 million grant from the National Institutes of Health. The center is one of only three in the country and is a collaborative research effort among the Marcus Autism Center at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, the Department of Pediatrics in Emory University’s School of Medicine and the Yerkes National Primate Research Center. There are great things to come in Autism research right here in Atlanta!  Nelda
