"LIMPING IS STILL WALKING" my 3 Day Journey!

October 19, 2012 I began a 3 day journey that changed my life.  It is not easy walking 60 miles through the streets of Atlanta, the concrete is hard, uneven and at times nonexistent but you just can't beat the company.  This past weekend I walked with thousands of people to raise money for breast cancer research, to protest breast cancer, in support of the BooB!  It is easiest for me to chronicle my journey through the images below. I am proud that I was able to make this journey and that I made it as a Cherry Bomb, a group of awesome women, survivors and supporters who gave 3 days over a weekend in October and months of weekends even before to train.  Thank you to my supporters both financial and emotional, I am grateful for your faith in my ability to make this walk and for your encouragement along the way.  Thanks to my family who are really looking forward to a pancake breakfast next Saturday because they have not had one since June when I started training, I love you guys!  I would encourage anyone capable of walking to make this journey and remember limping is still walking!  Peace, Nelda (c) 2012 www.neldamaysphoto.com
