Mt. Hood, Oregon

Mt. Hood: The highest point in Oregon, considered the Oregon volcano most likely to erupt, though based on its history, an explosive eruption is unlikely, host to twelve named glaciers and viewed by Lewis and Clark on October 18, 1805, they are believed to have been the first Americans to see the mountain, home of Timberline Lodge (location for the 1980 film The Shining)  and last but not least year round skiing!
